Church Point Attractions
The Town of Church Point is known for many attractions, like Central Park, Dog Park, Skate Park, Le Vieux Presbytere, Cajun Woodstock and Courir de Mardi Gras. We have many places to visit and events to be a part of here in Church Point. Many new and great ideas are being developed to continue tourism in our town.

Heavy rain is expected in the area over the next few days. If you live in a low area or feel that you need sandbags, sandbags will be available tomorrow (Tuesday 5.6.25) from 7a – 4p at the town barn. (POW MIA drive)

Please bring your own shovel and self load sand. We will have a town employee available for handicap and elderly. Must have ID and be a resident of the town of Church Point. If you live outside the city limits of Church Point, please get with the police jury office to find your location.

EVENTS AT le vieux presbytere
French table at Le Vieux Presbytere
Le Vieux Presbytère Museum, located at 205 Rue Iry Lejeune in Church Point, invites the public to the first monthly meeting of a new French table at Le Vieux Presbytère at 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 7. No prior experience speaking French is needed as we learn conversational French with an emphasis on pronunciation. An additional goal is to master the pronunciation of the responses and acclamations to the Catholic Mass in French, which will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point at 4pm on Saturday, October 18 as part of Le Grand Reveil Acadien in south Lousiana. Please join us!
Le Vieux Presbytère is open to the public Monday through Friday from 11am until 4pm, Saturdays from 11am until 2pm, and at other times by appointment. For further information please contact curator Harold Fonte at 337-384-7993 or at hjfonte@gmail.com .

There are 10 newly built hook-up (water & electric) sites located in our city park.Â
The sites are back in sites with a sewer dump located at the exit gate of the RV Park.
Each site is equipped with a BBQ pit, picnic table, trash can, & canopy for your enjoyment!  Â
