- A budget amendment for a total of $25,000 for Church Point Saddle Tramp Mardi Gras
held on February 14th 2026 and February 15th 2026.
$15,000 for Police and $10,000 for the Town.
- LAW ENFORCEMENT
- Chief Thibodeaux stat report/appointments/removals.
- Fulltime hire of Lance J. Hopson on a 6-month probation.
- Part time hire of Brett Lejeune on a 6-month probation.

- Liquor license exemption for Church Point Community Development Mardi Gras Ball to be held and the Church Point Community Center on February 7th 2026.

- Liquor license exemption for Saddle Tramp Riders Club Annual Courir de Mardi Gras, to be held on February 14th 2026 (Delivery) and February 15th 2026 (Consumption).
- Demolition of blighted property – 104 Sunrise St – Parcel #0320054820

It was moved by Councilman Malbrough, seconded by Councilman Landry to approve the property owners plan of action at 104 Sunrise St – Parcel #0320054820. Property owner has 6 months to complete the house repairs.
Vote: All in favor; plan of action approved.
-Blighted property report tabled – August 4th, 2025
It was moved by Councilman Wimberley, seconded by Councilman Malbrough to table the demolition of blighted property – 104 Sunrise St – Parcel #0320054820.
Vote: All in favor; table approved.
